Why are Dental Implants such a great choice?

004-infinite
Permanent

Dental implants are very successful, and frequently last a lifetime with very little maintenance.

002-smile
Natural

Dental implants appear & function as normal teeth, improving your confidence and allowing you to eat the foods you truly love!

003-padlock
Secure

Dental implants are placed securely in the same bone that once held your teeth, giving you ultimate stability and confidence.

Dental Implants Have Many Benefits

  • Implants are a long-term solution that frequently last a lifetime, unlike dentures and bridges which typically last only 5-10 years.
  • There’s nothing to take in and out of your mouth every day.
  • Implants allow you to eat and talk with comfort & confidence.

  • Dental implants prevent the jawbone from deteriorating, unlike dentures which can accelerate bone loss and bridges that can damage healthy teeth.
  • Implants are extremely comfortable, just like natural teeth!
  • Great choice for patients who have as little as a single missing tooth all the way to those who have no natural teeth left.

Did you know there are different types of dental implants?

Which one is right for you?

Single-Tooth Implants

Missing a tooth and wondering if there is a permanent solution that looks and functions just like a natural tooth? A single implant could be the answer. Once placed, the implant can be covered with a porcelain crown so that no one can tell it’s not your natural tooth.

Multiple-Tooth Implants

Are you missing more than one tooth? If your mouth is pretty healthy in general, but you’re missing two or more teeth, you might think about getting multiple dental implants. Just like with single-tooth implants, once they are placed, they can be covered with crowns that blend in perfectly, leaving your other healthy teeth untouched and intact.

Full-Mouth Implants

Are dentures causing you discomfort and inconvenience? Full-mouth implant restoration might be right for you. With just a few strategically placed implants supporting an entire row of teeth, you’ll be eating your favorite foods again in no time. Full-mouth implants can give you back the freedom to eat, laugh, and smile with absolute confidence.

If cared for properly, dental implants can last a lifetime; they are a true investment in your health and confidence. While it may be tempting to take a chance on discount dentistry, you should first consider what corners these practices cut in order to offer such discounted rates on a treatment that should last for years. The cost of quality dental care is fairly consistent, so how are these dentists saving money?  Here are just a few suggestions:

  • The materials they use are subpar, often needing to be replaced
  • Their equipment is outdated, leaving room for error with diagnostic and placement images
  • Still others haven’t invested in continuing education

You deserve the Best
Quality Dental Care

When it comes to your teeth, you deserve the best quality possible — not a shoddy prosthetic that will have to be replaced time and again. If you take care of yourself and invest in high-quality replacements, your teeth will take care of you.

I called the office on a Wednesday afternoon to setup a routine cleaning/visit as a new patient. They had an opening the very next day. Check-In was quick, the staff was friendly, and Dr. Cobb was patient and willing to answer questions. They took full X-Rays, did periodontal charting, and a cleaning in just about an hour! I even got a few compliments on my teeth and my oral hygiene. Thank you, Friendly Family Dentistry - see you again soon!

Friendly and efficient; plus, they always explain exactly what they are doing or what needs to be done. Also, Amy is very helpful when working with insurance companies. When the dentist gives a novocaine shot in your mouth, somehow you don't even feel it happening.
